What You’ll Do:
As a Foreman, you will lead a fence installation crew, ensuring quality craftsmanship, efficiency, and job site safety. You’ll play a vital role in project planning, team management, and hands-on installation while following company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a fence installation crew on job sites
- Ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient fence installations
- Read and implement project layouts and blueprints
- Train, support, and ensure safety compliance among crew members
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain project timelines and organization
- Communicate with customers, team members, and supervisors to ensure project success
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experienced fencing professionals with installation knowledge
- Strong leaders with crew management experience
- Individuals with construction or project management experience (preferred but not required)
- Those with a CDL license (a plus, but not required)
- Detail-oriented problem solvers with a commitment to safety
- Must be proficient in building chain link, wood, vinyl, and ornamental iron fences per company and industry standards

We’re looking for hardworking, team-oriented individuals to join our Material Yard Crew at Idaho Fence & Washington Fence! This is a skilled labor position where you’ll receive on-the-job training to safely operate forklifts and skid steers while pulling orders for crews and retail customers. If you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and want to grow with a company that values its employees and promotes from within, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Pull and prepare fencing materials for installation crews and retail customers
- Load and unload trucks, including customer vehicles and semis
- Operate forklifts and skid steers (training provided!)
- Organize and maintain materials in the yard
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist customers and team members with material handling
What We’re Looking For:
- Hardworking & team-oriented – Willing to jump in and help wherever needed
- Strong attention to detail – Organization and safety are key
- Great communication skills – You’ll interact with customers and team members daily
- Ability to follow safety guidelines – We prioritize a safe work environment

- CDL and driver’s medical card give you an extreme edge in both pay and leadership opportunities as you would be the spearhead to getting material and equipment to our job sites. If you don’t have a CDL, no problem! We can help you get it if that is something you want to push for. We have a highly experienced staff who can help you prepare for your exam!
